Television Ads

Watching television nowadays has become like going out for window shopping. Programs on favorite channels are normally interrupted with boring lengthy advertisements.
This is a major source of revenue for media owners. Regardless of what the viewers think, they still make money out of this. We, the viewers, constitute the consumers of the products being displayed on TV.
My major worry is that the content on these TV stations is slowly being degraded whenever Ads come up. Those watching get distracted, hence as a normal decision making process, they stop watching the channel.
I’m thinking of starting my own Ad-free television station. The problem is, how will I earn revenue from it?

Marriage at 35

“Marriage is a temporary solution to a permanent problem.” Whoever said these words must have been inspired by experience. He must have felt the pros and the cons of marriage.
I shouldn’t be talking about marriage right now. For crying out loud, I’m only twenty years old (Unless I want to rush into an early marriage). The reason I’m pouring my heart out today

Medicinal Marijuana

Cannabis Sativa, as it is known by its scientific name is the trendiest drug people use today. From teenagers to grand-parents, the drug has proved to be of utility to those who need it.
Most countries have categorized it under illegal drugs. I’m sure the reason behind this, is because of the mental impacts it leaves on an individual. Contrary to this, some nations have legalized it. The drug traces most of its roots from the Caribbean islands, Jamaica to be specific.
In some of the U.S states, marijuana is used for medicinal purposes. Doctors recommend this to mental patients since it helps relieve stress. I can’t confirm if this is a misconception or not. From what I gather, bhang has medicinal values.

Water

Been walking for miles now
Heading to a destination only time will tell
The sun is unbearable
My clothes are all covered in sweat
I can’t seem to find a place to quench my thirst
I’m getting tired and weak
Will I make it home safe?
Will I achieve my goal?
Grandma told me challenges are distractions
My instincts make me believe I’m a warrior
An avant garde of my people
Behold I return home with the head of the dragon
My hands covered with blood
Mission accomplished, what else should I ask for

Bachelor Pad

Having your own place to stay is very cool. The pressure one bears while living in his old forks’ house is too much. You are like a slave; you live according to the rules set by your parents. Time is also an issue; and when you think partying and clubbing are your hobbies, think again. Your parents won’t permit you.
My idea of owning a bachelor pad at my age was motivated by the fact that my parents are harsh and restrictive. There are a lot of things I ought to do alone; not in their house, but in my private place.
Where else can I get this freedom?
Resolution: Renting an apartment far away from them.

Testimony

“Count your blessings name them one by one. Count your blessings, see what God has done.” Being grateful for life is such an honor to the lord. As a new day begins, new visions and discoveries are made.
We are living testimonies. Every little thing going on in our lives is worth a tale. We ought to be thankful. We ought to learn how to use the word “Thanks”.
