Flashing Lights

Just like the usual saying "thieves are born everyday", paparazzis are also born everyday. But who are these paparazzi and what's their purpose in life. Read on to find out what I think.

I was watching the video of Avicii & Conrad Sewell - Taste the Feeling, which is the theme song to Coca-Cola ads, earlier today. It hit me that creatives like Avicii spend most times in their lives creating sounds. They distance themselves from the world to keep their creative juices flowing and
making those hits that we all love to listen to. But there are people whose work is to spy on creatives with an objective of finding stories and getting a cheque for that work.

I made a revelation that the paparazzi came to this earth to document the dramatic events in the lives of creatives. They are always on the look out for news that will attract page views, product endorsements and all kinds of income. Whether you hate it or love it, they will always find fault or perfection in the life of your favorite actor, singer, rapper or any other creative. It's actually sickening that they make a living out of this activity.

AKA once said "These flashing lights will make you lose your focus". Drake also once said that "since Take Care, I've been care taking". These two lines are proof that creatives are uncomfortable with what paparazzi put them through. AKA is referring to the flashing lights from paparazzi's cameras that hit him every time he steps out. Drake on the other hand is stating that ever since he achieved celeb status, people follow him everywhere that he has decided to take care. His album, Take Care, won him a Grammy and introduced him to a larger fan-base hence the unwanted attention.

I hope you enjoyed reading this post. Don't forget to hit the comment section and air out your opinion about the paparazzi.
