The Commandment

“Though shall not use poetry, art or music to get into women’s pants. Instead use it as a platform to showcase your creativity; use it to get into their heads.”
This law is clear; it is self explanatory, but the opposite of what people do nowadays. It has become a habit of using charming words to win any female’s heart.

New Girl

Meeting new people is part of life. Getting to know them better is the most interesting part. Your likes and preferences are either similar or contrasting. If they are similar, chances are the both of you are going to make a good team. Subsequently, if they are contrasting, who knows, may be something good will happen or you may end up going on your separate ways.
I like writing about girls because they are a major factor affecting

Sometimes I have nothing to write about. Then I remember how writing changed my life. How sharing my thoughts with the world helped me discover my potentials. Expressing myself using words is the best thing I could do for now. It feels great when I inspire a new generation.
I believe I’m creative. I also believe this earth has everything

Oldies

I am a music lover. During my free time, music is what keeps me company. From my previous posts, I’ve talked about how frequently I update my playlist. I’ve also talked about the impacts of trying out new things.
As we progress with our normal lives, we can’t forget we had a past. The same applies to music. Before the current irritating and diverse genres,

Obsession Vs Love

Gone are the days that people used to fall in love, get married and then make babies. Literary, the century we’re living in, has a lot to offer. This includes redefining love by giving it a diverse meaning and application to people.
Now, you may be wondering why this 20-year old

Psychedelic Music

I have come to discover that artistes use various forms of ecstasy as an inspiration to compose good music. This is weird; getting high doesn’t make everyone creative. Average people abuse drugs when depressed or emotionally low.
Why listen to their music? Why don’t we emulate the same lifestyle of using drugs? The reason music makes us feel good is because it addresses most issues we’re experiencing. It’s also a medication to depression.
After extensive research, I came to realize

Tuesday afternoon Lectures

The week just began. The weekend was a blast. The hangovers were inevitable. I almost forgot Monday was on the corner. Tuesday was also up and all I had is a tight lecture schedule on my mind.
Nine hours of pure lecturing is quite tough. My diet should be at par with the conditions at hand. The first three hours in the morning, the next three hours in the afternoon and finally the evening part where I get to head back home.
My concentration levels decrease as time increases. This is natural biology. Psychologists and Doctors recommend 15-minute breaks in between 3-hour lectures. However, our lecturer seems to be enjoying the session that he can’t let us have our usual break.
I’m going to do the unusual: Walk out of the class for a few minutes, then come back when I’m freshened up.

Cynthia

I don’t ask much for this life
But all I want is,
To make things right
Surrounded by the dark
And looking for the light
It’s not easy
But I’m gonna put up a fight
Dear Lord!
I know I aint perfect
What I ask for I know I can’t purchase

It’s a Wrap

It’s a wrap when I’m done. This was one tiresome activity. The excitement on my face covers up for my tiresomeness. I may be smiling, but deep down I need some rest.
I’m not a workaholic by any means. I was born average, industrious and ambitious. Working to meet deadlines is part of my daily life; I’m used to it. The good thing is I’m always on time. And when I’m done, great things arise from my creations.
Enough said. I got to sleep. Bye!

Sold Out

Will you be my date to the upcoming Mr. and Mrs. Pwani University event? Same question asked annually but in different contexts, attitudes and moods. Can’t find a date? Have no worries; I’m also sailing in that boat. In fact, we are very many. The tickets to the show are sold out. Guys are really psyched up for this event.
I got myself a ticket; I can’t go alone. Who is going to accompany me? Should I ask Cynthia, the light-skinned beauty,
